You should have asked the recruiter what comp grade 113 means or its equivalent. I didn't have the chance to work for Truist. You can also reach out to current employees and ask them for insights.
At Truist, compensation grades are used to benchmark the salaries for different positions. The system uses a numerical range from 100 to 149 for the various roles, with 113 being a mid-level grade. When I was recruited for a role at Truist, I had to do some research to understand the compensation grade system. It was definitely a learning experience, but it was worth it to get a better understanding of the position I was offered.
Are they tied to job titles like a certain number is director and a certain one entry executive? All they communicated to me is that the base is $140-240 and bonus is 60% so it would be just over $300k
May I ask if you are applying for a Director level position there? I too am applying for a role with a bank in the Southeast but out of touch on salary levels in that region.
I don’t know if the title of it is director or manager, HR reached out to me on LinkedIn and asked me to interview so I didn’t see the job posting since it didn’t really say anything concrete on the summarized description they emailed me. I just know it pays $300-370k at most so I am dropping out of this one but I don’t know how the grade structure here works and I want to understand it better
113 is a coding system internal to Truist, with 100s for lower levels and 300s for highest levels. The compensations are most likely internal to the org. for each of these levels
Are these tied to titles like director or SVP or executive?
