Put interviews on Fridays in your calendar as meetings and tell people who try to schedule things for those slots that you unfortunately already have a meeting at that time.

Claim a personal commitment. Take the interview. 9-5 Skype call is redonkulous.

Lol you pointed out your problem. Normal people don’t work those hours and you probably don’t either.

I’ve lived these hours. I’ll be honest. I delayed recruiting until after the go-live both to avoid suspicion and my own sanity

I just schedule my own “meetings” and just tell someone else to cover another one. If you really want to leave then who cares how the project is going right now?

Where there is a will there is a way. I took all my interview calls either during a ‘lunch break’ or by blocking time off in my calendar.

Well I really don’t know your life and don’t mean to be presumptuous. But from reading this thread, it does seem you might suffer from “I am irreplaceable at work and if I even stop for 1 hour the firm will burn down” syndrome, which is rather common with consultants. I get that we all have stressful periods and don’t mean to make fun of you, but I promise you can make this work

Days off aren’t an option as I was told my utilization is dangerous low hint hint by my leadership

If you’re leaving, who cares?

What? Sounds like you have bill 45 hrs before Friday. So just take Friday off.

We have a go live coming up and I literally can’t take off

You work 6-9pm everyday?

I understand, the offshore schedule is tough. Godspeed with the golive!

Ppl will tell you they work the same hours as you, the truth is that some of those hours go to interviewing. Only difference is you take it too seriously. Read between the lines and do what is right for yourself. Good luck!!

What’s the deal? Have a certain number of that experience level been promised in the sale of the practice?
