One natural way to draw out the process is to ask clarifying (and legitimate) questions about the offer via email.
You can often foster an email exchange that spans a few days, giving you time to pursue the other options.
Yeah, it puts the responsibility on them. If they take a day to respond then you’ve just won an extra day, essentially.
What everyone else said. Ask for an extension so you can and inform the other agencies.
And if agency 2 doesn’t pick up the pace, then chances are they might not have been a good fit anyway. (Or at least that’s what I tell myself...)
Rising Star
You can try to push the offer response date a day or two in addition to telling the place you're interviewing with that you have another offer on the table.
But at some point you might have a tough choice to make if Agency 2 doesn't pick up the pace.
It's a difficult predicament, but congrats!
You can just ask for an extension. Most recruiters will give you about 48 hours, while pestering you to sign with the agency.
