How do you feel about travel as a job requirement, and does it matter if it's local (driving) or flying? I'll fly anywhere but refuse to drive to even the suburbs of my city. I live near downtown (and the airport) for a reason!

All I can do is shake my head and wonder how you expect to ever be best in class.

funny

I'm already best in class at being me! Cheers!!

I have had two jobs that required me to drive long distances and I enjoyed it.

Was on an iPad and if you are driving 8 hours straight line basically you can glance down and type while looking at the road and then glance down hit the next box and type. Especially since most of it was in the middle of nowhere and no traffic.

I'd love the opportunity to travel for work. It wouldn't matter at all to me, I love road trips as much as flying. I don't blame you for feeling like that though, the only part about roadtripping I dislike is dealing with city traffic. I'm fine doing 10 hours across rural America, but two caught in rush hour traffic makes me lose my mind.

I hope you get that opportunity at some point!

I wouldn't mind traveling for work to be honest with you. I have always thought that would be fun. I would want to fly though, I don't want to be driving for work.

Yep. One thing I've noticed though is I can't really get work done on a plane. So many people do but it's just really hard for me.

To all the people searching PGs, i would suggest not to go with any online bookings like nestaway, zolostays.

The ideal thing is to land in hyderabad, book a hotel for two days and then go to office nearby area and search for PGs, you will get 100+ pgs in each location. Have a look at the room size, ventilation , bed size , if required taste the food also before booking PG. In case you need flat then also you will see " To let " boards everywhere, just call the number

When I interviewed they told me I was not required to recruit but now I’m required to upload 50 “My Relationships” every certain amount of months where other recruiters can technically go after my contacts and recruit them and also am expected to invite potential networking to events and through the beaker model. Is this required? I feel forced and I’ve only been here for less than a month and I’m not loving this approach.

Any recommended resources for a mid-level lit associate looking to develop some skills in health care transactional work? I'm primarily a med-mal attorney and several clients have small opportunities on the MA side that I'd like to be able to assist with. For now, I'm just looking for good basic foundational resources.

I found a company I was really excited about working at. I applied for the job and went through 5 rounds of interviews. At the end they said I was OVER qualified and they want me for a different position higher up in the company. I was super excited they then had me go through 5 more rounds, 3/5 people were the same. The interviews mostly went "didn't you get the job, I highly recommend you? I'll just put you down as a 10". After those were done they told me I was UNDER qualified. Can't win!
