This is possibly the worst economy to buy a rental property in compared to the last 10 or so years. But if you can find a property that works now, you’ll be able to find lots of properties that work as the economy improves.
If the deal is good, the economy doesn’t matter.

Agreed, each market and property should be evaluated individually if you are serious. It’s pointless to speak in generalizations.
With these rates and property values probably not.
I’m a realtor and it depends on you. Each situation is different. Real estate tends to be a good investment, especially in certain areas.
What factors do you think would even remotely contribute to now being a good time to invest?
