How do you guys become more efficient? On a pretty research intensive project at the moment and struggling to be 80/20. Feels like I am not 'actively' thinking about the problem at hand and am constantly falling into a 'passive' mindset. When I do realise this, I switch back to active thinking. Have tried time boxing etc but hasn't really worked. Any advice on how to really ramp up your efficiency would be appreciated- specific to this but also in general🙏🙏

Experience with keeping the account once your client gets acquired? Does the account get moved to the bigger company’s agency?

I have a partner that calls me multiple times a day to talk about updates on our cases. Sometimes just to ask “anything to update me on?” He’s known across all of the associates for doing this. Most of the calls repeat information I’ve already provided in emails to him or the client. I normally bill this time as “strategize on” or “consider XYZ in further of” and it keeps getting appealed. Any advice?

Need advice. I’m at my first job in private accounting. Previous experience is as an auditor. I am struggling to figure out the way JEs are posted at my current company. M2 NYC metro area working in healthcare consulting base around $131K low for an M2 in a high COL or market? No MBA, but want to pursue in the next 2 years to pivot to working in health strategy.
