Hi fishes,
I’m a fresher and have recently completed my internship as an Operations manager at Amazon. I am currently looking for FT opportunities. I came across and opening at Maersk for the role of Business Analyst. Could anyone refer me for the role or maybe point me to a suitable opportunity?
thanks!

Had a similar situation at a past employer. I'll try to make a long drama filled story short lol. I was doing sales and would present the renewal offers to our largest clients including driving across the state to do these client visits. I did this for almost 2 years when our good manager quit and the old horrible manager that moved to another city came back to take back over the department. She didn't like me from the beginning of me working there years prior because I came with an acquisition and she couldn't yell at me and belittle me to my face like she did to those employees she didn't personally like. She definitely shouldn't have ever been a manager.
Anyways, horrible manager took away the sales and account executive roll from me and the others that were doing it because she made commission when she would sell and wanted it for herself. A position handling the large accounts for the department was created by a higher manager shortly after they took my roll away. I went to the head manager over the horrible one and said that I'd like to be considered for that position since that's what I was doing already for over a year at that point. There was alot of other shady things going on that i won't get into but they said they already hired someone that worked there before for the position. As someone that is a team player, I took the crap they threw at me and smiled thru it which was then to handle rewriting all the nonrenewed business in the entire department. The manager wanted me to quit and did all kinds of demeaning things where I eventually did. Could have sued them for harassment but didn't. What happened is i found a job as an sales agent and became the department manager during my 5 years there all while that other manager got fired eventually for shady things and they lost alot of those large clients I helped them retain while I was there. Sometimes those unfair moments are just closed doors to be clear it's time to move on. Sometimes they're adversity to push thru to grow. Only you know deep inside what it is for you. Hope you find peace in your decision!
It can be really hard to maintain your own morale when you are being passed over for promotions, I will say that. The best you can do is keep showing up and doing your job to the best of your ability. If you are feeling that way at your current company, maybe it is time to look and see what other roles are out there.

That is pretty much where it is at. It has been obvious for a while how the hiring manager feels about me, the feeling is mutual as it usually is. First step is polishing the resume.
Honestly, i fought so hard to be happy where i am but it got to a point where I realised that I need to leave.... Im making 26p above the minimum wage despite being there for 3 years and being certified. So, now I focus on all my positives outside of work, have done my CV and am looking at other jobs
Just keep going for it. They didn't accept you this time, but they might next time. And it's not personal, it's just business. The odds are that somebody else had more years of experience or a better-aligned skill set, and it really is nothing personal.

No, it was personal, I don’t
want to go into too many details here, but it isn’t about qualifications. Right now, I just feel very defeated and am having a hard time with motivating myself as I feel like it is pointless.
Sounds like it may be time to change companies. Personalities and politics are hard to navigate.
