Hi everyone, I have 2 years of experience in a service based industry as a Java developer, and I am eager to work hard and switch to a reputed product based organisation, but I am not getting proper time to study and practice data structures and algorithms, as I have so much to learn and understand things which are related to my project. Any suggestions would be appreciated and I'll try to inculcate it. Thanks in advance! Amazon Oracle Samsung Microsoft Cisco Salesforce Arcesium Uber

With some sensitivity around their situation
Just work with them till they get fired?
For a little more context, they’re not a great performer and not particularly cooperative to work with. Kind of in a weird limbo where they will be let go but it has not happened yet and it’s hindering progress
As a professional and with dignity
So I’ll try to give some actual productive advice here. I think the core issue you’re asking about is working with a poorly performing client stakeholder. Communicate to your engagement manager that you are not getting the support you need from the business partner. Document where you have asked for information/ action from them, and they failed to deliver. It’s a risk not only for you, but for the project. It will be frustrating, but CYA and it won’t come back to bite you.
Additionally, increasing communication and setting up regular touch points can help usher things along if they are slow in getting you what you need.
I would keep quiet as well, you’re probably not supposed to know that before they do
None of these answers are good. I’ve been in your spot before. Offer to reach out to your network to find them a job blah blah blah that type of thing. Build a personal relationship.
If this person were productive in their role I’d understand the sentiment. Based on what I’ve heard from my team and this persons boss/colleagues, this is like any other low performer getting canned.
Like you don't know they're getting fired
Do they know they are getting fired?
They have hinted that they know something is coming but nobody has outright said it’s happening in front of them. My team’s leadership was informed by this person’s boss.
