How friendly do you get with your coworkers out of the office? At my last job, I didn't add anyone on anything other than Linkedin. New offiece and I already have 3 requests from coworks on Facebook. Is it a bad idea to add them or am I overthinking this one?

I personally like to keep my private life private. I have a hard and fast personal rule that I don't become friends on social media with a coworker until I no longer work for the company and only if they're a true friend/someone I want to keep in touch with. Nothing worse than forgetting to clean house after moving jobs and realizing you have 50 people you only spoke to at the coffee machine in your friends list. Nobody should be too offended if you just ignore or quietly deny the request

If your Facebook is for networking, go for it. If not, then hard pass. A friend actually has a secondary FB account just for this reason. They never post to it.

Check me here: other side attorney has already reached out to me directly via email saying that an LOI is coming… Then, she sends the LOI addressed to my client, and CC:s me only. Hi everyone, I’m an architectural designer (from Europe) with 1.5 yrs experience. I’m working for a practice in San Francisco, full-time from the office, getting 25 an hour. It is so expensive to live here, I am struggling to make things work. Is this a normal salary for someone of my experience or should I ask for a raise? I don’t want to be greedy but it’s so expensive out here… Thank you 🌈
