It's typically your base salary divided by 2080 to get to the amount per hour you get for PTO.

I don’t know why but I always assumed PTO hours were valued less. Nice to see we actually get paid based on our salary

The payouts are generally withheld at bonus levels, so it might appear to be lower, but you’ll get that excess withholding back at tax time.

This happened to my buddy and not me but it’s been bothering me: Our manager promised him a promotion and a salary bump back in March and claimed it would hit “early May” and obviously my friend was excited. but they just had a meeting yesterday where my manager claimed that he no longer feels my buddy is ready and is taking away the pay and promotion. When my buddy asked further questions my manager admitted that actually our holding company said no. Is my manager acting in an ethical manner?

I feel like I’m getting depressed from work. I’m working from 7AM-9PM every day with some weekend work and it’s starting to impact my personal life and mental health. I feel like I’m losing it and I don’t know what to do. I try and book time with a therapist, but even then there’s not enough time in the day as I’m working. How do you cope with work in early pregnancy and exhaustion? I don’t have lots of common pregnancy symptoms except cramps and fatigue. The exhaustion is on high today!!! Yawning through my zoom meetings and it’s only 11am here on the west coast. I’m also a team lead so I need to be present on meetings. I don’t know how to cope lol. I slept a lot through the holidays but now I’m back at work. I even overslept for my 8am meeting today 😫😂.
