Best life lesson I learned from Deloitte: don’t ever, EVER sign a contract that demands you return the sign on bonus if you leave within a year. I thought to myself, “I would never leave a company within a year”, but I grossly underestimated how much I could hate a job.

Hi everyone, Deloitte is asking me to sign a 18 months contractual bond in lieu of the joining bonus they are offering and a retention bonus payable after 12 months again with a 12 month bond, which effectively means a 24 month bond period. Is it normal with Deloitte? Can anyone share their perspective please? Thanks!

I had joined kpmg global services recently (7 months) back from one of the IT services companies in an advisory role however now I have received an offer from HCL with 40% hike to my current CTC. What should I do. I have heard that KGS gives decent hikes and bonus payouts however the work is completely backend with limited customer interaction and limited good quality.
