How exactly is a rainbow made? How exactly does the sun set? How exactly does the posi-trac rear end on a Plymouth work? It just does.
It's a measure of how much hope and happiness the firm has extracted from you on a weekly basis.
^ fake news. Utilization is charged hours/standard work week (40 hours). The 40 hours can be reduced for sick days or holidays, meaning you have to work less chargeable hours to reach 100%. For example, next week your standard work week is 32 hours because of Christmas, meaning you have to charge 32 to hit 100%. Utilization can be over 100%.
Lmao @ the positrac
On the average week it's chargeable hours over 40. 40 can be reduced by sick or holiday but not vacation
E = mc^2
Sick days do not reduce the denominator for us. Only holiday.
@OP- you can look on myMetrics website or phone app to see your utilization in real-time. Its billable client hours/standard work week hours (usually 40 hours), with adjustments for holidays. Agreed with @PwC 3- our utilization is not adjusted for vacation or sick time.
Agree with PwC 3 and PwC 5
@ey1.. have off for Christmas lol
During busy season 100% utilization is based on 60 hours I think.
PWC 3 - that sucks
Pwc2 - that’s hours over standard
