My last therapist keeps coming up in my mind. I left her when I moved to a new area before COVID dug in and frankly it felt like leaving a girlfriend. She also disclosed in the final session that she was a member of AA and knew several of the people I occasionally discussed from the rooms. Procedural question. I represent a hospital. Codefendant is a company that manufactures breast implants. Case was venued in NY state Supreme Court. Manufacturer defendant transferred case to MDL (we hadn’t answered yet). Plaintiff gave me stip of discontinuance with prejudice but now since case was removed I am unsure how to proceed. Do I file the stip in state court still? Does MDL have jurisdiction over the hospital? Can a hospital even be part of a MDL lawsuit? Very confused! Thank you!!!

One of the reasons I want to transition from industry to consulting (tier 1) is that I get frustrated when I have to collaborate with mediocre people. My assumption is that Tier 1 consulting firms hire really sharp people and if I can get in, I’ll be collaborating with folks on top of their game (not expecting much from clients). I’m aware there are personal aspects I need to work on like my mindset, patience etc etc, but I just get so frustrated with blatant stupidity.
