How long does it take for an L1 approval letter to arrive? I'm a manager on an L1a visa. My wife is on an L2S, which is tied to my visa. And both our driving licenses expire on the same date as our i-94. I just had my L1a extended using premium processing via the immigration lawyers, which was approved on 3rd October. The lawyers sent me a copy of the approval email, but said we had to wait for the approval letter in the post to be able to get my wife's L2S and both our I-94's re-issued.

Anyone at @EY transferred h1b visa? How long did it take? JD will change from the previous employer.

Are initial law firm consultations usually free? I’m on H1B and wanted to schedule an initial consultation with an immigration lawyer to discuss some GC options (outside of employment based) and was told I’d have to pay $200 for a consultation (45 mins session).

Am I being cheap for not wanting to pay that or are there firms out there that offer free consultations?

My H1B is set to expire in Aug 2022, my employer is filing my extension, assuming I will get it till aug 2025 and I need to go to stamping.Parent is sick, needs to undergo a surgery. I want to go to India, to be with her during this time. My question here is if I go for visa stamping will I get stamping till Aug 2022 or aug 2025?
If I get stamping till Aug 2025, Can I come back before aug 2022 without any issue?
