In my experience, the whole thing would take at least a month. but given that you've already had 4 SD interviews, I imagine it should be soon. Have you had an in person interview and/or with MD yet?

like

Nop, I had the phone interviews about a week and a half ago. still waiting for HR to say go no-go. Coronavirus is delaying things I guess

How long does it take after your initial screen with HR?

You get the job? Going through interview process as well. Phone interviews with 3 senior directors- pending interview with managing director... fingers crossed.

Hello Fishes,

I currently hold offers from below:
IBM - 15.5 LPA
CTS - 18.5 LPA
PWC India - 16 LPA
Oracle Financial Services Software(OFSS) - 21 LPA

Planning to join OFSS as I will work in product development team and can work in any shift timings with WFH.

Today I had my 2nd round interview with EY GDS and got rejected.
Do I need to worry about this and feel low?
Could EY GDS would have been better instead of OFSS?

Please provide your valuable inputs.

I have been interviewing at a company that I have wanted to work at since I was in undergrad. The issue is that they can’t offer me much more than I’m currently making, but they focus on family and making it affordable to have kids (I’m currently pregnant.) Yes, they know.

Is it worth the change in jobs for a little tiny pay increase (or same wage) but WAY better maternity leave and benefits? I currently only get 4 weeks paid at my current job for maternity leave w/ crappy insurance.

I can’t even get an interview outside of the insurance industry. I have 2.5 years experience in insurance, before that I was in restaurant management.

Wanted to highlight Prudential Financial’s hiring practices. They rescinded my offer once I attempted to negotiate the salary. The official reason given was that I didn’t “sound excited enough”.
They then admittedly gave the offer to someone who was less qualified. There were other red flags throughout the job offer process that the HR team should overall be ashamed of.

Three associate partners at the door

Five senior managers come overdressed
Six managers show up with a guest
Seven senior consultants arrive in a sack
Eight associates sneak in the back
Nine analysts come to work
ALL THE CONSULTANTS GO BERSERK!!!

One of the reasons I want to transition from industry to consulting (tier 1) is that I get frustrated when I have to collaborate with mediocre people. My assumption is that Tier 1 consulting firms hire really sharp people and if I can get in, I’ll be collaborating with folks on top of their game (not expecting much from clients). I’m aware there are personal aspects I need to work on like my mindset, patience etc etc, but I just get so frustrated with blatant stupidity.
