EY Deloitte PwC people - would you leave your current employer for a 15%-25% total comp difference? This translates to a 25-45k difference per annum, largely driven by bonus at the new firm (20-40%), much smaller than my current employer. Doesn’t feel like a great exit opportunity - currently at big 4 this would be moving to a niche consulting company

I was coming out of portfolio school, so that really helped.
I graduated from ad school. I was broke as hell and about to take a job at Starbucks to hold me over. That’s when Zimmerman hit me up about an amazing opportunity. Needless to say, I had a great time working at Starbucks.
I did. And I had to explain to my dad why I would go to wieden kennedy even though the others were offering almost double.
Sad 2 - i just graduated from ad school and it’s definitely borderline recession right now. I think no one is unaware of that. People have been awesome and seem to like me but just have nowhere to put me. Just a bad time

I had a really hard time, even with portfolio school, awards, and great internships. Sometimes its just luck and the timing of the market (unfortunately for me and my classmates- graduation hit during the recession). Keep reaching out to people you know and keep your chin up! It will work out in the end if you stay persistent.
Lucky bastard. I ask because I can barely land one
My first offer was at grey and I turned it down. Probably one of my not so great decisions in life....

I do currently. People are going to shit in me for this but it's been incredibly difficult trying to choose between a dream agency and a chance to stay near family who is ill. It's a wealth of riches and also the hardest decision I've ever had to make.
Jc 1 - sounds truly horrible. Really...
I had two offers - big agency ($) and client side in house shop ($$). I used client side offer to negotiate agency offer and ultimately went to the agency side
