Hi fishes! My spouse is planning to go to India but we would need to get her visa stamped before coming back. I see that getting appointment is such a huge problem right now. Can we get her visa stamped from a different country? In this case, we were considering Qatar, she grew up there and has her brother there. For what it’s worth she qualifies for Dropbox in India. How do I find out if Qatar works in our case?Deloitte

I've been interviewing with some companies, and now I have to decide between JPMorgan Chase and Globant.
Globant is more innovative, and has remote work. I will enter to work with a Sillicon Valley startup based in San Francisco. The tech stack is React, Nextjs, AWS, and a serverless architecture.
JPM is semi remote, and less innovative. The tech stack Java, SpringBoot and AWS. But I'd do more migration tasks, like dockerize projects and pass them to kubernetes. What would you choose?

Depends on the company and the state. None of it rolls over for me, which is why I'm taking the last ten days of the year off.
Ask your HR benefits department, not us. This varies from firm to firm.
At any given point in time, we can accrue/carry over 300 hrs.
We have DTO. We never accrue.
Totally depends on company.
I have unlimited PTO... So none of it, and also all of it, rolls over 😂
Right, you would have to check with your company to see for sure. Some places rollover nothing, some places cash you out, others let you take some up to a certain amount, etc. There are a lot of different policies out there. We have a use it or lose it so a lot of people are cramming in the PTO days before the new year.
Depends on the company. Mine says 3 days.
OP that depends on what your company policy is. If you are unsure I would suggest reaching out to HR or even your manager to see how many hours you can carry over.
We have DTO. We don't carry over, but we supposedly can take as much time off as reasonably possible. What "reasonable" is, arguably, is debatable, of course.
