Cognizant Recently cognizant have changed their internet wfh allowance policy.we use to get 1800 per month as internet allowance without submitting any bills or transaction details. Now they changed the policy as we need to apply for icici/axis/hdfc credit card from there we need to make the transaction and reimburse the same. I am ok with everything but why i need to apply for credit card? How a company can force me to have a credit card? It will directly/indirectly alter the credit score right? Cogniza

Hello Guys,
I joined Cognizant recently, the project interview calls which I am getting is not from my base location.
I have the location constraint, should I wait for the right opportunity or raise this concern to ADP team so they can look in to it?
As per ADP policy, one should not have any constraints and take the project as FCFS basis.

Bank bonuses are worth way more than chasing slightly higher rates. If you want both, try Sofi savings. 3% interest, $25 referral bonus, and $250 direct deposit bonus.
If you reeeally want to get the highest rate, you can always move the cash to another HYSA after the bonus, like the one you mentioned. Not really worth it though.
Check out brokered CDs on your brokerage accounts. There are in the 4% for 6 months or so. Build a ladder.
Short-term Treasury bills are going for about the same.

Moving from 0.25% to 2% makes sense. Moving from 2% to 3.13% may also make sense for larger amounts. But I wouldn’t keep chasing higher yields like that or you’ll drive yourself crazy.
Maybe check every 3 to 6 months, but your time is likely better spent elsewhere.

Yeah, checking once a year is probably about the right cadence.
I have not considered changing in 10 years. Just not worth the effort
