PTO - you get either 15, 22, or 25 days based on rank/client serving. Staff are in first category, seniors through SM are in second, and PPED in third. These accrue October 1, 20X1 through September 30, 20X2. Can carryover unlimited amount through December 20X2; only 40 hours can carry after that through June 20X3, after which all expires.
Additionally, you get 3 personal days at start of each year (October 20X1) and expire September 20X2, with no carryover.
For sick time, you get 10 days a year, immediately as of start of year (calendar year, January 1) that expire after 12/31.
Hope this helps.
True about the vesting, but you are allowed to go negative in days (maybe not as a brand new hire). Also around February, there is the option to purchase up to 10 additional days off (ADO) at a prorated amount of your salary that will be withheld from your paycheck. You have until Aug/Sept to use them, otherwise the amount will be paid back to you in your paycheck when they expire. I know some people have used this as a way to force themselves to save up money.
EY - PTO plus sick plus personal is more than 30 days of vacation — definitely miss that
Thanks everyone!
