Take a look at your comp plan, it's effectively specific to each individual.
Very commonly, thiugh not always, a larger than typical RSU grant is offered as a sign-on bonus to entice a prospective talent to join. From then on annual grants are typically a lesser annual amount at a given role, sometimes variable based on performance.
There isn't any single correct answer to your question, look at the plan you committed to.
Exactly! You can have your initial grant/sign on grant, then you can have your time based grant (annual grant) or performance based! You can also look into the ESPP
I get about 55-70% re-upped yearly with performance reviews.
Sign-on was $110k, and yearly refreshers have been $60-70k or so, vesting every 6 months over 4 years.
As a director, so far my refreshes have been about the same as my sign on was
