I’m not bad with money but definitely lots of room to improve overall, due to several personal factors I don’t want to list in full here (numerous unanticipated medical bills, bad boyfriends, etc.) Hence why I only have $3k in savings right now. I have two offers in hand. KPMG and Deloitte. CTC is almost same whereas variable is more in KPMG. I am inclined towards Deloitte India. But HR in KPMG told me that I won't be able to join KPMG India in future as I accepted their offer. I informed her within 2 weeks and didn't do anything for onboarding. SO moved in, however they aren’t as organized (an example is closet, my clothes are neatly folded and kept while theirs are mostly a pile of rolled up clothes). It does upset me and for some reason comes across as lazy which it may or may not be. We have had one minor chat and they saw it as ‘house rules’ and were worried there may be too many rules.
