So I've had 2 hiring managers and several recruiters from Amazon reach out to me about applying for some open positions with the company (android). I completed the coding assessment and now they want me to go through a round of 5 hour interviews next week. Is there a good chance I'll be hired if engineering managers are reaching out to me? I'm really not sure how badly I want to work for them and I don't want to be laid off months after being hired on. Anyone know what Amazon hiring is like?

Just let go of your dreams and say yes.
Interesting but not compelling
Read the book ' Diificult conversations" by Douglas Stone. You may find the answer or methods for a conversation there....
Make sure you don’t come across as difficult because then word may get around and people won’t want to work with you (especially assuming it’s your first couple years with the company)? Not saying it’s fair, but have seen it happen. Can you give some context on the situation?
Is the official stance that the company does not want to lose talent for people getting License A, or is it solely your managers opinion or you’re guessing that’s what the company thinks? If it’s the former GTFO the company, if it’s the latter then you can prob come up with a business case for it, or say you plan to take B after A.
Are you able to give us some more information about the situation?
License B is part of license A. In my opinion it is a joke and waste of time to just get B.
When do you have to decide by? I would scout out a new role and then have the convo so I’m ready to walk if they don’t stick to the original plan.
Like 6 hours :D
