I accidentally sent my phone number via Skype to the project leads husband this week... how was your week?

My manager continues to ask me to help other teams and do work on other billable projects. I’m sick of it .. and I’m going to explicitly say that no I can’t do it because my hours are taken by the existing project we are doing. Is this appropriate?

Found out my interview this week will be with PMs of different levels so they can decide who wants me on their team, but recruiter won’t give me any specifics on client/brand, print or digital, etc...

Any specific place where I can find good PM templates for like Project plan, release plan, product roadmap etc? Of course there’s a way to create plan from JIRA if thats your ALM software but wondering what everyone at FAANG is using

Any good recommended books on how to build a scalable product and team? I'm looking for recommendations for two areas: 1) in general laying the groundwork in a startup to have the tools and especially processes in place to scale, and 2) tactical focus on building a SaaS project. I've been promoted into a management role from Dev roots, so need to learn more PM processes to be an effective manager in day job, plus would like to start building my own SaaS solution.

I’ve been asked by a client to coach their team on how to structure and write scripts for their corporate event content (e.g. panel discussions). I’ve happily had a crack at helping them but it’s a bit out of my wheelhouse - is this ask something that would ordinarily be given to an agency copywriter? Or would it usually be something a content or speech writer would do?
Either way, I’m happy to add the additional skill to my CV 😅

Eyeing an open spot as a Senior Manager GPS Contracts DOD Sub-Sector Lead. What would be the anticipated compensation (base + bonus%?) for this role? Hi Accenture people, got offer today, asked HR about project, she mentioned it will be mapped on first day itself and will be connected with project manager. I told her i need details about the project and she said she will talk to project manager and get back to me tommorrow. Everyone says we have to search project after joining only. So any idea if this scenario can happen? Anyone got to know project details before joining? Please share ur views.

Had an interview with Hexaware and 3 days back HR1 called me and said she will send the offer letter next week. 2 days back HR2 called me and said a client interview is scheduled for you and I attended that. Now if I fail to clear the client interview round, will I not receive the offer letter that is promised by the HR1?

Hello! I’m currently a Administrative assistant now working at a major medical system in Baltimore. I’ve previously worked for 10 years as a medical assistant in a variety of specialties and primary care. Lately, I’ve been feeling a bit stuck as to my next step. Part of me want to go into management, another part is saying go get your RN, and the other is saying go into Social Work. I’m all over the place. Any ideas? And how would I be able to cross over to management?

HR opinion: Do I have any leverage as a hospital nurse case manager in negotiating earned time? I have 15 years within the organization, left for 10 months to be remote during the pandemic while sorting out childcare as immunocompromised family helped. Now HR is restarting my ET as a new employee. I realize I left, but not on bad terms and I am an exemplar and respected employee. I thought I’d have the upper hand with the nursing shortage but I’m getting the “rules are rules” response. Help!?!

Help - how do I fight claims by scammer healthcare providers?

I recently went to 2 different providers.

Dentist, made appt via Zocdoc to see a dentist that was in network. Another dentist at the location saw me instead who was out of network. I have text evidence they said it would be covered before visit. Claim was denied - asking for ~500 dollars.

Saw a specialist who’s office staff verified my insurance would fully cover the claim. Get the claim, says they are out of network. Owe 600.
