1099 or w-2 ? I have been given the option though the company prefers w-2. It’s a day rate booking couple of months or more (no end date). This is regarding income tax proof submission.
I Joined UST on Nov'21 and before UST I was not under any tax slabs. I had only 1 LIC premium being deducted on monthly basis. Though I declared the LIC amount from April 2021 to March 2022. I have still got LIC statements till Dec2021 only.
Also planning to invest in ELSS and term insurance by Jan end. While i only submitted LIC in investment declaration form.

My visa expiry is June 2023 , whereas my Appointment to consulate is July 2022.
