3.5 years post undergrad making ~150k total comp. Was in consulting at T2 for a couple years and now in tech at Nike. Struggling to decide if it makes financial sense to take two years off for MBA. Likely won’t change career sector dramatically. Thoughts?
I worked as a Treasury Payment Coordinator for 5.5 years, my WPM is over 66 with no errors and I can consistently answer over 200 emails a day, with great KPI scores. In August I was let go with no warning, citing “budget cutbacks” but they kept my teammate with low scores on everything. I’m looking for something new now but all I come across online is scam job posts. How do I apply with a legitimate company, how do I protect myself from spam?

Hello New Members!
I hope everyone is well. A little on my background I’ve been an RTT for about 6 years. I have worked for some incredible employers and not so incredible employers. I went to school in the PNW (Portland Oregon) and relocated to CA not too long after graduating. Some questions for you, what interested you in radiation therapy? Do you have any wise words for any new grads or potential RTT students?

Ummm, genuine question - is saying "Happy Friday!", Happy Monday!", "Happy (day of the week)!" a business etiquette thing? Showing of good manners?
I've never heard anyone say it before until working in corporate (previously had shift service jobs in small businesses). I always forget to say it until someone brings it up, and I always feel bad bc it's like I'm not a good colleague or smthg if it is common business etiquette that I never learned before

If you're a contractor and the organization still hasn't hired you on full-time, would they care if they realized you are looking for other opportunities before your contract ends? If so, would they still consider offering you a full-time time role?
My take on it is if they're not willing to commit yet 4 mos. into a 9 months stint, why should I? I realize they have a hiring freeze, but still.
Has anyone encountered ageism? How have you dealt with it? I am finding it a real barrier to a new job
It's been 4month with the team with no manager. I recently joined the organization and the team I am part of is headed by a lead and one analyst.
So being a new member as Sr.Data Analyst I sometimes have to report to analyst. Considering the fact that he has been part of the team for past 1 year and sometimes he sounds like lead as he is leading some project.
On other hand my manager is continuously asking me take lead in project and try to reduce dependency on that analyst.
Facebook (Meta) Meta vs EY?
I am evaluating an offer from meta.
TC at EY: 170k TC at Meta: 300k
I’ll be free of EY’s investment restrictions. I love the role and the team seems warm and welcoming. With Meta being in the news for something or the other, is now a good time to join Meta? Thank you! Facebook
15+ people have left my company in the past 5 months (180 person startup) mostly due to low pay /poor management, but mainly low pay.
