Consultant with 15lpa fixed in KGS, is that low?
I work in US Tax and had an experience of 3 year. Had got an offer of 14Lpa in another big4,but still don't feel like continuing in US Tax. As taxation is something I do feel like I don't want to make a career anymore, because of work life balance & also as it specialised. Please suggest other option worthy to make a career shift. You guidance will be extremely helpful. My highest qualification is M.com.
EY KPMG Deloitte PwC.

You would be better off either waiting another year to come in as a senior associate or going in as staff 1 and starting from the bottom to give you a chance to learn their way.
Uhh as far as I’m aware, Staff at Big Four is just Staff. The 1, 2, and 3 are just internal labels we use to signify how many years someone is in that role. There aren’t separate Staff 1, Staff 2, Staff 3 job applications. There’s one Staff application, and your experience & abilities determine where you fall in terms of the career progression timeline
KPMG has intra-level subgroups in its software. The correspond to A1, A2, S1, S2, etc.
Most of the experienced staff I know have come in and are coded the same level as August campus hires, even if they have a year of experience. Better than being coded as a January campus hire, I suppose.
Stay as far away from B4 as possible
Working on a previous client while doing work for a current client may be less likely at the Big4 than most other firms. That happens mostly because they spend months and months on the same client. At every national firm down, you will most certainly be balancing multiple jobs at the same time.
You could definitely come into EY as a staff 2. I wouldn’t wait to come in as a senior because then you have to catch up on our methodology and processes. I feel like experienced hire seniors are set up to fail unless they are very strong performers.
