HCL Technologies offer being delayed and recruiter keeps saying that there's a problem with their "Offer release portal system." I have already stated my issues with relocating until after I have the offer signed and ready. The project is supposed to start on the 19th and I'm supposed to join before, or on that date. It's already coming up soon and I don't have the official offer so that I can confidently start the relocation process. Has anyone else recently dealt with this?
Just got a job offer from Accenture and have my H1-B visa transfer approved. I spoke with my current employer manager and client yesterday and they are requesting me to serve a 3 week notice instead of 2 owing to an important release. I also want to separate from my current employer on good terms, but how would I communicate this to my new employer? Do they usually defer joining date by a week or 2?Accenture

Thoughts on Columbia vs. Tuck vs. NYU (60k)?
Anyone here ever been to RCA? Is it worth it ?
Shouldn’t be true, they’re hiring you because there’s a level of confidence that there’s a strong pipeline of future work in the area you’re specialised in, beyond one initial project. If they’re hiring you just for a project, it would make more sense to subcontract.
Definitely not true. There's plenty of work for you to do after it finishes. Also that's bad for the brand to do that. They also hire contractors if it's short term
No, traditionally they have enough work to keep you staffed.
What you are saying can be true with smaller firms
Absolutely not true! Good luck making your decision.
