I am being flown out for dinner and drinks with a team I’ve been interviewing with for over a month now (multiple zoom and phone calls). I don’t yet have an offer, and I assume this meeting will be to discuss the finer points of employment. We are going to a more upscale (I wouldn’t consider it ‘fine’) dining establishment. How formal should I get with my outfit?

I’ve never been in this exact situation but after getting my last job offer, my manager and VP drove from two states away to deliver my new equipment (remote role) and took me to lunch. I wore what I would wear to a job interview since it was my first time meeting them in person and I wanted to make a good impression. Neutral colors and conservative cuts. For female, natural makeup not too much. For male, be well groomed, fresh haircut and facial hair groomed if any. For all, don’t wear too much perfume/cologne!
