I shop at White House Black Market. Check it out.
Maybe Ann Taylor, LOFT, Nordstrom or Macy’s? Talbots or Chico’s? Maybe J.Jill but might be casual…
Yeah I haven’t been to a store in a while, just brainstorming 😌
Banana Tepublic has a nice selection and good clearance.
Dress your energy not your age. I shop thrift stores but I am guided by Dressing Your Truth program. Google it, it’s amazing!

I actually was going to ask something similar!! I’m in my 40s and need to travel for work next week. I found a few great outfits at Express as I don’t know how they’ll feel about my ink. So I got some third quarter sleeves and comfy stretchy slacks!! (Plus there’s a sale!)

I’ve never been to Express and was pleasantly surprised. My Old Navy look needed a refresher!!
The West coast must be more casual in their dress than the east coast. There are quite a few tattoos in our building, even some full sleeves, and no one says a word about it. When I first transferred from the high school level to middle school, I was wearing skirts, sweaters, blouses, blazers, and the occasional dress. I looked around and saw that most of the teachers wore jeans and a nice top, and the school tee-shirt on Fridays. Most wore tennis shoes, but some wore boots or booties. I like to blend in, so I started wearing the same. The only time anyone really dresses up is when they're expecting to meet with parents, such as the first day of school, during parent/teacher conferences, and for graduation. I'm 65 years old and pre-covid, I shopped at Ross, T-J Max, and Fred Myers (I think that Nordstrom is overpriced for school wear). Since covid, I started shopping online at Zulily, but I'll go back to in-person shopping as soon as the dressing rooms are re-opened.
