Hi Folks, salary credited?
I am a graduating student who just got offered 65k for a solution analyst role at Deloitte USDC (Data Engineering Focus). From reading previous posts it seems to be a lot of negative thoughts surrounding the USDC, but straight out of college is this a good opportunity?
I'm looking to gain as much experience as possible out of college in an IT role and wondering what exit opportunities may be in place a year or two down the road if there is little/slow progression.
Any Advice?

Me these days

Hi all, I just got a job offer at PwC for a senior consultant position. The salary is 30% above my total comp right now, but I’m just worried about the amount of work I will have to put in compared to my amazing work life balance now. Does anyone have any experience moving from industry to consulting? I need some advice on what to do. I’m still early in my career (1.4yoe) so I feel like I shouldn’t care too much about wlb, but at the same time, I don’t want my mental health to suffer either.
I recently joined TCS but I was moved into very different project which was told during hiring. Also they told me for joining incentive but later after 65 days of joining they didn't give saying your business aproval got rejected. I really want to be with TCS but due to project dissatisfaction, I am looking for different job. I am not sure if I can leave the organisation soo soon(4 months) and it should not effect my carrier.

Don’t go to EY. Our benefits are less than other Big 4 and we have a more restrictive independence.
My last day is this Friday ✌️
It would probably help if you said which Texas city.
Come to CR!
I’ve enjoyed Weaver.
If comp is comparable be sure to look closely at benefits. I usually do an analysis of expected take home + benefits. I had an offer for 10k more last year that would have actually been a net pay cut the first year. This was largely due to forfeiting my current year 401k match, not being eligible for their 401k match for a year, 50% higher health insurance premiums, a poor HSA match, and a vaguely worded bonus structure that I felt I wouldn't be eligible for in my first year (no target % or defined reasoning behind who gets what). Beyond that I looked at my eventual commute and it was 15 minutes longer. It was an easy answer and then RSM ended up doing comp increases a month later so had I taken that offer I'd be hugely in the hole.
Which CR office would you be working remotely for?
New York office
Depending on the GT office, it can be very hit and miss also depending on the department you're in. I had several friends leave on terrible terms due to a backstabbing environment over there. Would not go those specific office departments.
Thank you for the opinion. Can you please share which GT office departments you talked about?
