No problem from the immigration POV as the US immigration rules don’t apply outside of the US but you will need to check with your employer to see if they allow working from abroad
Immigration standpoint actually you do need to I believe as the location where you would work is not in your petition.
You’d need a temporary and emergent situation/ permission from employer to work abroad as an H1B holder as to not technically “breach the conditions of work”
There are locations and wage on the application for this purpose
Correct me if I’m wrong M1 don’t know if you are in immigration field or not?
OP ignore the SA. You can work from abroad for a limited time granted your employer allows it. Some employers don’t allow it at all, some allow it except certain countries. Check with your employer.
Ok I don’t have the need to be right you should’ve showed that in the first place lol I was asking to learn and being on the safe side for OP
Thanks 😊
You can’t put a location outside of the US for your H1B petition. H1B petition is for temporary work authorization within the US
I’m not saying you can! I guess you’re misunderstanding lol
So no OP you cannot work abroad, just ask for confirmation from an attorney to be safest!
