I am having 16 yoe in business intelligence mainly in cognos and for past years as BI Tech PM/ scrum master and pmp, working on 26 lpa, I know this is very less but not getting any calls as now cognos is legacy app. Need help to understand what skill set I need to have to get salary increased to at least 40 lpa. In next couple of years. Any ideas and help will be greatly appreciated.

Just got offered a job at a small biotech in London (UK). ~£45k plus bonus but only 1YR FTC and no equity.

Pretty sure it's a discovery role too.

I just finished my PhD at a very good uni with 3 years technician experience before that. BSc and MSc also at very good unis with good grades.

Since there is a heavy impetus on solving Tree, LinkedList, and Graph problems for tech interviews, it can naturally make freshers believe that these concepts will be used in day-to-day life at work. In reality, most of these DSA concepts are already implemented in some libraries our code uses and we rarely have to code such Algorithms by hand.

Given all the recent buzz about expected large raises around the big 4, I’d like to level set on the average salary for a 4th/5th year female senior manager in federal tax ( credits & methods group) in the Midwest - Chicago/Minneapolis/Detroit market.
