It was like 220 when I was screened in NY
Total or base? I was hoping to reach 300k…
I think the top pay is 275 TC (base and bonus) for AGC at JP Morgan. You’re not going to get 300 from a bank like JPM.
The title of “VP” means vastly different things across companies. VPs at my current company are very high up execs. At JPM a VP is more of a mid-level management and it’s a very common title. In the legal dept the VP terms means very little. All the AGCs are at the VP pay grade. Never be led by titles or allow the title to determine the salary expectations or requirements. JPM is also huge and it has a huge legal dept. And there’s a ton of VP/AGCs running around.
The pay is decent for NYC it’ll keep you out of subsidized housing but you won’t be in a UWS penthouse.
Expect about $220-225k.
