Hi guys ,
I am in a US project in Accenture. We have long calls in the night timings. My other teammate has backed out saying she won't attend any calls as she got some medical condition so she won't attend long calls which extend till 9:30.Other teammate is a junior. The managers are expecting me to join all the calls. No help I am getting. And they all being Tamil, I think some partiality is going on between them.Even our onsite lead is of no use.She expects me to attend long calls.
What should I do .pls suggest?

Hi I’m a current Graduate student, hoping to get my foot in the door for Deloitte Healthcare Consulting, Accenture CDP, or EY specifically within Chicago Offices. Is there anyone open to connecting and speaking on their experience being hired? I have previous experience working prior to my degree so hoping to get insight on how I can best score an interview. If you’re also open to providing a referral that would be a bonus!

Let me guess. You were at PwC
*hugs* I sympathize with you, OP
Same here PwC is getting known for doing this
Can relate. Wasn’t laid off but placed on PIP. Talked to HR about whether I needed to disclose this to the directors I worked with and was told it was my decision. I chose not to disclose. Recent engagement ends and RL contacts the director on it and tells them I am on PIP (RL did not give heads up they would disclose this). Director follows up with me and says he would have never thought I was on PIP and he is going to give me a good snapshot. Also very subtly hints I am getting screwed, that I am a smart capable person and I should go where I am valued.
Perhaps it wasn’t that subtle. His language was more watered down corporate speak but that was the gist of the message.
The whole situation is more infuriating when you have SM/managers who are shocked and devastated to hear about your separation.... reinforcing the fact that there were no consultations outside of upper mgt. i never had a good impression of PA to begin with, but the way they’re approaching this situation is incredibly unprofessional and a new level of low.
Sorry OP. I was laid off (very similar circumstances) during the 08 crash. The best I can tell you that it’s awesome character builder and that now 12 years on, I wouldn’t have it any different!
Turn this loss into a win and Carpe Diem! 💪
