I am interested in pursuing a civil engineering degree. All the local universities have told me I would need to start from scratch because I have an occupational associate degree. As a parent and full-time employee, I cannot afford to quit my job.
1. Is it possible to work as a full-time civil engineering designer while pursuing my degree without taking excessive time? I currently work in the field but require a degree to be compensated accordingly.

Do you think all these violent and hate filled attacks are because people aren't getting the emotional/mental support they need, whether it's therapy at any age or help they needed but didn't get from a social worker as a child? I’m a designer in the planning/landscape architecture dept. of a CE firm. Extremely frustrated that after 4+ years and multiple asks, I’m not getting the in-field construction experience I’ve asked for. I know that my designs could be better if I could see how things are actually built but I get slapped in the face with “I need you in the office designing/drafting” or “there’s no budget to have you go out” and then sends an intern to inspect instead.
