I am interviewing at fifth third bank this next week for a Commercial Associate Relationship Manager. What is the environment like at this bank? Is the Associate Relationship manager equal to a 601 at JPMorgan (or what would it be equivalent to?) What kind of salary is typical of this position? I would be moving from JP Morgan Chase if I'm offered the job and I think it's a good move. Thank you in advance!

Just had an interview with them. I’m in the same position trying to figure it out. I asked for $115k and HR said I’m crazy..

funny

I was thinking 80-85k for my position but I'mnot sure! What did you interview for?

What do you currently earn and what city?

I have no experience in the financial world (I'm in my first year) but I have a law degree and a PhD in tax law. So I was surprised when they (the recruiter) quoted 68k but I needed a job so I took it. But now I am looking for a better paycheck since housing is crazy and food prices and gas prices are crazy and I am a single mom. So thank you for your insight. Much appreciated.

Top of the range is $90k I think

I’m looking for a new job, working remotely, that doesn’t require a Bachelor’s. (I’m currently going back to school to get one, as I only have an Associate’s in Mathematics right now)
I had positions in private sector that allowed me to supplement having a degree with experience but not in public sector. I’ve seen coworkers get positions they aren’t able to do simply because they have a degree and then leave a mess for me to clean up but I’m not allowed to have the position. Any suggestions?

Questions about job hopping-
My average tenure at a company is ~1.5 years (with ~11 YOE), but each jump I've made has yielded progressive/tangible career growth.

I'm concerned after my most recent jump (went from a product director to a head of product position at a different, smaller company after only a year) that I've kind of poisoned future career prospects at larger companies.

Any insights on whether this type of job hopping is a complete deal breaker for potential HMs?

Jr. Associate at an AmLaw 100 firm in Central Florida. Good credentials; top 10% at T14, law review. Sick of private practice bc of hours and pressure. Also, not enjoying the work that Central Florida offers, but want to live here.

I want to one day have my own firm. Trying to think outside the box on how to get the experience w/o being in big law for ten years.

Thinking of applying to be an ASA and to the FL AGO. Would like trial experience or civil rights/con law work.

Thoughts appreciated!

I’m have a new theory about why juniors always feel like idiots and wanted to see if anyone else thinks this makes sense. I’m a third year, and am the most junior person all of my teams (generally me, a senior or two, and a partner or two), and I always feel like I’m messing something up. Is this just because I never get to work with other juniors and don’t see the mistakes they make, and that it’s relatively normal? And FWIW I went to HYS and I’ve had a clerkship so it’s not like I’m not smart
