This question is on behalf of my friend: Her current package is 2.5lpa from a small company (3yrs exp java spring boot) . She got offer from Accenture of 6lpa (fixed) . After this she had interview with cognizant and asked for package of 7 lpa. When she recieved the offer from cognizant it was of 10lpa fixed. Most interesting part after 2 weeks she got revised offer letter from cogni without any discussion of 16lpa with 1L joining bonus. How can we analyse and suggest her regarding offer.

Hello fishes, How is the yearly hike, WLB, promotions in NTT data. HR mentioned there is no variable bonus in the company. How is the growth for SAP? Deloitte 9.5 + 10 % bonus. NTT data 11.2 fixed no bonus. YEO- 4+

Was invited to apply for a lateral in another group at my company - transactional (I’m in lit now). I have a lot of experience in what I do now and am getting good development opportunities within my group. However, I’ve been passed over for a deserved promotion 3 times and am doing work two salary bands above where I am now. I enjoy the transactional work even though I have less experience in it, and it would be a great resume builder. I am not great with risk taking/change. Wwyd?
I have a good offer outstanding from a tech firm (350K TC) and just got connected to a recruiter from one of the alternative investment firms (PE/Hedge/VC 35bn AUM) in NYC and it seems they want to go through the process with me. The base range given is 350K (excluding bonus and others). TC wise.. I'd like to try and see how far I can go but the tech firm is something that I really like. Is working at PE or hedge fund considered a prestige experience? YoE 14 all in consulting. Worth trying?

Just accepted an offer from a former client at an exciting company - Joining the corporate strategy team after 5 years in consulting post mba. EPAM - 20 LPA FIXED. 1 lakh joining. Might negotiate lillte bit more. ZENSAR - 20 LPA FIXED. Might offer some joining bonus. Partner community, it’s interesting to see so much opacity and variation around partner comp...for the benefit of the community at large, do you mind sharing;￼ (1) company, (2) Years as Partner / Equivalent, (3) cash comp (base + bonus) and (4) % Commission? Fully understand that “commission” is not the standard by any means but if you could express your comp beyond cash as % of revenue sold, I think we can cut through the noise a bit. TIA!

Why do some people say that the senior level at big tech (e.g., L6 at AWS) correlates to senior manager level at big 4? I get it from a comp perspective since comp is just that much higher. But from a scope/skills perspective, I find it hard to believe that L6 is closer to SM than it is to SC. Asking cause I have a senior level offer in big tech. Hi, where or what types of companies should sophomores & juniors apply for next summer (2022) to recruit for IB the following summer (2023)? This summer BBs wrapped up SA IB recruitment, EBs even earlier, and a fair amount of my friends missed out big time. Also, if a sophomore or junior doesn’t get a finance-related summer internship (I.e tech) and aims for an IB SA or FT position, is it harder to break in? Appreciate any advice and insight, thank you.

Do I need to elect for COBRA if lateraling?
