I’m supposed to work tomorrow. I’ve been debating calling off, but I’m pretty sure my manager will see through that. We technically don’t get holiday pay for Christmas Day if we call off the day before or the day after the holiday but technically we’re working Christmas Eve. I guess it doesn’t make sense to call off tomorrow. Either way I’m working Christmas Eve. Just thinking out loud.
Working tomorrow? No, don't make me laugh. Even if I was "working" I wouldn't be working. I can't imagine anyone else would be either.
We are closing shop tomorrow, so me I guess. But nothing hectic. I'm excited for the next 2 weeks I'll be away. Happy Holidays to everyone.

The corporate 9-5 in the US is a little ridiculous. People that have salaried jobs should be able to take breaks during their holiday season.
I am taking off tomorrow too, closed Christmas Day, and then I am working Thursday and Friday, but off all next week. Burned through my PTO earlier in the year so had to be kind of choosy now, ideally I would have taken off half the month, but happy I get next week completely free.
Not me!
I ended up working and I wish I had just taken it off but I honestly didn't have any plans so I just figured why not go to work. But nobody that was in the office was getting anything done and it just wasn't a very productive day overall which i didn't mind.
