I got a call from Infosys HR on 16-September-2022 that I have been successfully selected for the job position of Test Analyst at Infosys, as per our conversation I have to receive an offer letter within 15 days, but I haven’t received it till now.
Now They have sent a mail that your Candidature is on hold. Is this happened with anyone else also.
Please do suggest on this guys.

I think a way to navigate this issue is to ignore her trying to make you feel bad for asking. Instead pivot the conversation into a growth plan asking the important question, is this company big enough to handle people staying long term and growing upward in the company and express what and where you would like to see yourself in your career in the next 5 to 10 years. If there don't have room to support it's people, then maybe you would need to consider looking for another role and company would have a vision for your growth within their company and see if that aligns with your vision for yourself.
I find her interpretation of your justifiable request oddly self-centered. Why not consider a title and salary bump instead of acting like you taking her job is the only option?
I think she might be making the point that there’s nowhere for you to move up to. It happens people outro their companies. It’s probably time to look for a new job at a different company. I don’t think it was the ideal way to make it.
