Hi guys,
Need help,I am joining VMware Banglore on 27th June. During interview I told them I need wfh. They said it wil be wfh this entire year. Only mistake I did was i didn't permanent wfh. I took for granted like once I join i can opt for it ( as my VMware friends had said we can opt for it)
Now the offices have started, I am scared if they call me to office , I have 14months son, not willing to leave him n go for office.
So if I ask manager to give me permanent wfh will they agree ?
Anyone else moon lighting here ?
Curious to know if you've legitimately declared it to your core job peers and if yes how are you balancing ?
What I know is if i can be a manager at a regular office and yet have my own start up venture(s) on various other skills, it shouldn't ideally conflict but some HR do poke in between
Anyone from Accenture India ?
Anybody know if there’s a Toronto Lawyers bowl?

Omg yes. I was stressed all the time. feeling guilty when I wasn’t studying. Life is so great now! I passed this past Dec. and April is the first trip I am looking forward to. My first true vacation in over 4 years because I can truly relax knowing I don’t have to study.

Ugh I can relate. My journey was long. Was studying (5 yr ago I think) then got pregnant, so stopped. Didn’t pick studying back up until 2/3 yr ago. Passed far first. Struggled with aud. Lost far. Passed aud in October. Passed far again Dec. long journey but goodness worth it. And the relief and zero guilt on my days off. Amazing lol.
Keep at it if you can. Cpa can certainly never hurt. And if you find you still don’t like what you are doing after, would have letters after your name and can go anywhere! ☺️
Yes! It gets better
Also in the same boat - i keep telling myself to push through and life will get easier after getting the CPA but some days after studying are really hard for me and sometimes i feel like getting out of the profession entirely. Wishing us the best and hope we can pass all exams soon!
