I currently have 4 years of IT audit experience and I am wondering if I should gain skills in doing cybersecurity assessments (pen testing, vulnerability assessments, etc.). Are there differences in salary as i move up? Seems (Google search) like a cyber career only makes about 30k more at the director level. Idk if that is worth pivoting my career over the next three years.

Also is IT auditing at risk for being automated within 50 years? I want to make sure my skills won't be obsolete

My dilemma… I am an injury adjuster at a carrier experiencing high inventory that’s barely manageable. A competitor offered a higher salary and manageable workload. BUT, I would like to get into underwriting. I applied for UW position w/ a different carrier and they’ve made an offer. It’s lower than my current salary and significantly lower than what I’d make by taking the first offer. Do I take the high salary and stay in claims or go for UW in hopes it will be best in long run?

i have an offer of X amount from jp morgan and x+ 3.5L from Mphasis, my joining is within a week, I asked counter offer from HR, she said we will look if there is any backup candidate to fill that position then we will not do counter and it will impact my DOJ also since offer approval process takes around 2 weeks. should i wait or should i join on my current doj. and also if i will wait will they give me another doj on my current compenstion or they will revoke the offer past doj?
