Hey OP. I just replied to your other question in the cyber bowl. What you mentioned regarding cyber vs IT audit, cyber has more upside. Mainly because it could potentially land you more strategy based roles where there are usually higher salaries.
Cyber has the same risks of being automated as well. A lot of the hardening or assessments have been automated for a while now especially in the cloud.
If you want to stay relevant you’ll have to keep adapting.
