I currently work for a non big 4 accounting firm and have been applying to jobs outside of public. It’s been over a month and I can’t even get a call back. Would it be worth considering switching to big 4 for a year then trying again? Or should I stay patient and keep doing what I’m doing. I should also probably mention I am a female and plan on trying to start a family in the next year.

So, I’m interviewing for a position that fits perfectly, HR likes my profile, had great conversations with them. Today I had a Panel interview with HR and the hiring manager. The manager is not experienced, it’s her first r manager role and she’s been in it for 3 months.
