I deposited 4000 from my bank into Caesars Sportsbook. Pulled out 3500 to paypal which apparently is triggering a 1099K form. Will this show up to the government as me making 3500??? How do I clear this up to show that I shouldn’t pay any taxes on the 3500? Thank you so much for any advice

My current CTC is very low, 4.77lpa. Got 10% for September cycle.
1) when is the annual appraisal cycle, when we will get the hike letter? Approx hike %

Why would anyone trade their time and time with family for slave hours and money that you could make having your own thing or somewhere else? Everybody sounds miserable at big fours. What’s ur take?

I feel like so much of my job is planning and scheduling that I have 0% left to plan and schedule my personal life. Is that normal? Do I need a Microsoft to do list for normal life 😣

What can I do with my 3 year experience at big 4, if I exit now? My aim was to always hit 6 figures after 5 years of work but I can’t stand the big 4 workload and stress levels that much longer. Always willing to work hard and long hours. But that is spilling over into Saturday and Sunday’s. My mind does not rest. Persevere or start looking elsewhere?

Are private companies easier to work at than public companies in accounting? We have such an accelerated close deadline at the publicly traded company I’m at now, I really hate the inflexible tight deadlines and analysis seems to drag on forever after that. We also close AP/AR very early in the month yet that doesn’t stop payments/receipts from happening so we’re constantly adjusting our accruals until the end of month. Do private companies start their close after the month actually ends?

Will it look bad if I skip the firm’s holiday party? Very socially anxious and not really feeling like going.
