To be honest, Jeremy Grantham spent most of his career in high interest rate environments. The sustained low interest rates is a particularly recent thing and for someone like Grantham who is is very old it’s hard for him to readjust his lens. Gundlach I am not sure how to handle him. I listened to him in 2016 and missed out on the run up to 2017. As long as rates are where they are, you can ignore these guys for now.

Yet you beat them both to MGNI...

Just want to thank the people in this bowl for giving me advice on several posts awhile back post-COVID layoffs. Had taken on 2 other (senior) people’s jobs/duties and then successfully managed and executed 3 major projects, I finally asked my new boss (team lead) about a title change and I’m glad I did! It was definitely something he had not thought about but could see the clear reasoning behind it and was willing to go to HR to ask if it was possible.

Hey all! Any guidance on leaving my firm after being placed on an upcoming project? I got an industry offer that I’d love to take, but I just got word that a new client would like me for a project after several weeks of interviewing with them. The project is scheduled to start in about 4-6 weeks, so I havent started anything, but I can imagine the conversations would be tricky, given the amount of effort invested already from both sides. Anyone gone through a similar thing?

I'm through to last round of an extremely cool job opp. Salary at best will be lateral but title bump and extremely cool set of responsibilities. However will only likely start in Jan due to needing to wait for bonus and security clearance check. Have baby coming end of may. Per my understanding this means I won't even get statutory pay? What should I do? Or should I just view this as missing 2 weeks of £150 (ie unpaid leave) and whatever paid paternity leave benefit org has (likely 2 weeks)
