Hi,
If I get referred at IBM, get a mail for details from the HR but do not reply as I currently don't want to switch because of some reasons, can I get referred again after say 3 months?
Asking cuz the profile blocks for an year after applying/getting referred at Accenture.
Please help with the answer.

Hey, this happened to my wife recently (2 months ago)
Only maybe useful thing I can say is that she treated applying for jobs as her “full time role”, literally the entire day (7 days a week) applying for 3 weeks straight.
Ended up with 6 different offers in less than 50 days from being laid off.
I don’t know how healthy it was, she was constantly stressed and didn’t do anything else, but it worked…
This, when I left the military I was told finding a job is a full time job. If you arent putting the same kinds of hours to your hundreds of applications, resumes and cover letters you are short changing yourself.
I hope it gets easier for you. But you might have to hit the target hard, what does this means? Apply 100 jobs to get 10-20 recruiter calls and eventually have 5 interview cycle. This also means that you might have to apply in crazy ratio. Even if you think you qualify for 50% of the JD then just apply. Don’t think too much.
Also try to reach out to all your family and friends without hesitation on asking for referral, you never know which one turns out to be positive.
All the best! You got it 🙌
Thanks for this 😊
Sorry to hear that OP. Where have you applied? What skills do you have? Many of us on Fishbowl are happy to refer folks.
DM if you see something at Deloitte US. I’d be happy to refer. Don’t lose hope, there’s something for you around the corner.
Keep going. You’ll be fine. Everyone is dealing with end of year budgets so it’s slowing down a little, but the new year is almost here.
Remember, you’ve only been at this a month and the average is between 3-6 months. You’ll be fine. Keep at it and don’t get disheartened
