I feel like I’m coming to a little bit of a realization and questioning of if I want to be promoted. I work at 110% and I’m really good at production and already doing work and activities that are above my role, but I can’t take on any more physically or mentally. Was there a key point in your career where you essentially unlocked how you approach work that felt like a balance and not a continuous race every day? This can’t be a cycle that people do for decades.

I recently interviewed with Natwest and I got confirmation that they wanted to offer a role. Salary negotiations were started. However, now I got an email from the hiring manager that hiring for my role has been paused due to the ongoing cost of living crisis. He expects to resume the hiring for the role in Q1 '23 and would resume the process then. So is it the end? Honestly, I don't expect him to come back. But what do you think?
