I feel like I’m so late game with this...but getting a solid office chair is a WFH game changer. Any other things that folks have found helpful? I know things are opening up, but I have a feeling WFH is gonna be a mainstay

I couldn't do it without a really big monitor.

like

Dual monitors, noise cancelling headphones (I have young kids), I’ve also started doing doc markups on the iPad with Apple Pencil because my printer just isn’t up to the task of printing 100s of pages per day.

like

Dual monitors, comfortable and responsive mouse and keyboard, and standing desk are worth the investment if you spend enough time working from home.

Big monitor and good chair both changed my life.

Looking to get into SaaS sales but my experience is in construction and fine furniture (I was a sales manager and was able to lead my team of 4 people to consistently hit 450k monthly targets). I did that for almost 2 years before making the switch. I miss sales, though. Does anyone have any connections to companies looking? I have also considered a sales analyst role considering that I am moderately versed in Salesforce and have worked both the customer facing and sales generating side. TIA!

I had a call w/ a recruiter and after hearing about the job, I *really* want it. But I’m worried I priced myself out of the role. I sent my resume/portfolio after and haven’t even gotten a reply that she received it, and I’ve followed up. I’ve been getting recruiter messages offering salaries up to 120k for copy/senior copy roles (which surprised me) so I gave 110-120 as a range on the call. She hesitantly said she thought 115 would be OK. But wondering if the salary could be the issue? Thought?

My husband just received a job offer on an opportunity he is really excited about. It would be great for his career and they are giving the 15% jump in base he asked for, however they won’t share what the target bonus amount would be. It’s an executive director position, so I would assume it’s a decent target bonus, but without that in writing it could honestly be a gift basket at the end of the year. Is it a red flag for them to not share this? His total comp could be less at this new job…

There’s now a lawsuit in Texas challenging PREP. How much longer do y’all plan to live in the US? This is actually how I predicted this would unfold. Anyone have slow months where you burn through a lot of your allotted pro bono/professional development hours to keep hitting minimum daily hours? The past few weeks have been like this for me.
