I followed up on a raise conversation after not hearing anything for a while, and my manager said these things take time. I get that, but it also feels like it just keeps getting delayed. How long do you usually wait before pushing again?

Got an offer from a big bank’s operation department (fund reporting analyst), currently at EY faas and I’m not happy here, should I stick it out here until I get promotion or jump now? The salary offered is about the same I get now ( a few K higher). but I’m worried about flexibility (not as many vacations, promotions) if I jump to industry :(

Senior engineer making 135k and I was offered a promotion to engineering manager after completing a development plan. Near the end of the plan and I expect compensation talks to start soon. Based on some research around Boston and my role in the company, I feel 165k plus 10-15% bonus is fair. Nonetheless, first time going through something like this and asking for thoughts and comments. I started interviewing early Oct with a company that reached out via recruiter. The hiring manager was very straight forward with me that I was his top candidate and I was told all other interviews were very positive incl CMO. The recruiter said they'd be making an offer but it's now been three weeks. Anyone else had the process drag on like this? Is it awkward to bring up the possibility of annual merit raise (usually done at end of year) with my boss now?
