Hi I’m a current Graduate student, hoping to get my foot in the door for Deloitte Healthcare Consulting, Accenture CDP, or EY specifically within Chicago Offices. Is there anyone open to connecting and speaking on their experience being hired? I have previous experience working prior to my degree so hoping to get insight on how I can best score an interview. If you’re also open to providing a referral that would be a bonus!

You should definitely go for it. I’ve landed a job that I only met 50% of the ‘required’ criteria and I’ve gotten many rejections for jobs where I met 100% of the requirements. You never know unless you try. Good luck!
Doesnt hurt to apply!

I’ve always heard that job requirements in a job listing are more of a “wishlist” than anything. I’d still apply, and make it known that you’re confident in your ability to learn quickly!

Still apply!! You’ll never know.
Apply. An 80% match is strong, especially if the remaining 20% is learnable and not something that legally requires a license, certification, or immediate independent competency on day one.
Job descriptions are often written as wish lists, even when they say “required.” What matters is whether you can safely perform the core responsibilities, learn quickly, and be honest about where you are still growing.
I would apply and use the interview to show transferable skills, willingness to learn, and a plan to close that technical gap. Don’t reject yourself before they even have the chance to consider you.
