I found it deeply disrespectful and unprofessional when an interviewer refused to turn on their camera while pressuring keep mine on. It is disgraceful when they implied I needed the job more than they needed a respectful interview. Hiring should be based on mutual professionalism and respect — not a power imbalance where one side feels entitled to disrespect the other.
I experieced it from one national (India background) more than others who are disrespectful/ghosting towards jobseekers.
